Are you looking for a relaxed, comfortable and fun way to explore the most beautiful and authentic Greek islands?
This is a great opportunity to sail on board a world-class Hallberg-Rassy 49, refit in 2017, with a fully-renovated interior, spacious heads with separate shower stalls and electric toilets, air-conditioning, tender with outboard, stand-up paddle board, snorkelling equipment and more.
We will visit beautiful bays with crystal clear waters ideal for swimming, snorkelling and exploring, or simply soaking up some sun, listening to music and reading a book. Some times we will remain at anchor to enjoy the atmosphere, have a drink and gaze at the starlit sky. Other times we will visit small authentic towns to experience the local culture, cuisine and night scene.
Your crew, Pierre and Marion, is an experienced, pleasant and outgoing couple, who enjoy cooking creative and authentic local meals. Marion, a physiotherapist, also enjoys offering a relaxing massage on board.
Our usual base is in Syros Island or in Mykonos island.
Mykonos can be easily reached by 3 alternative ways:
[1] an international flight to Mykonos International Airport (JMK)
[2] a domestic flight from Athens International Airport (ATH) to Mykonos International Airport (JMK)
[3] a ferry from Athens, which has two ports (Piraeus or Rafina), to Mykonos.
Syros can also be easily reached by 3 alternative ways:
[1] a domestic flight from Athens International Airport (ATH) to Syros Airport (JSY)
[2] a ferry from Mykonos, which has an international airport (JMK), to Syros
[3] a ferry from Athens, which has two ports (Piraeus or Rafina), to Syros
In July and August, when the Meltemi winds blow uncomfortably strong in the Cyclades, our base is in Lefkas/Lefkada island, which can be easily reached by an international flight to Preveza/Aktion Airport (PVK).

Panos Dragounis was born in Athens in 1979. Starting at a young age, he has been participating in several water related activities, such as waterskiing, wake boarding, surfing, windsurfing, scuba diving, deepwater fishing, cruising and sailing. As soon as he turned 18, Panos received his Powerboat Certificate and then the Basic, Advanced and Racing Sailing Certificates from the Hellenic Offshore Racing Club (HORC). In 2002 he graduated from Brown University in Rhode Island, USA and in 2005 he graduated from the Marine Business Management Graduate Programme at the United Kingdom Sailing Academy in the Isle of Wight, UK. During the same year, he received the RYA Yacht Master Ocean Qualification after having completed a transatlantic crossing from Bermuda to Madeira. He also received the RYA dinghy sailing instructor and RYA windsurfing instructor qualifications. Upon his return to Greece, Panos worked at the Corporate Finance division of Alpha Bank, where he had the opportunity to get involved in several major privatisation and business projects in the marine tourism industry. In 2008 he joined the EKKA Yachts sales team as the local sales representative in charge of promoting the legendary Bertram Yacht brand in the Greek market. From 2009 onwards, he carried on as an independent yacht broker marketing a small selection of high-quality yachts. At the same time, he occasionally worked as a skipper on private charters and yacht deliveries. Having collected significant theoretical knowledge and practical experience in the yachting industry over the years, and having travelled approximately 8.000 nautical miles in different kinds of sailing and motor yachts, Panos is now offering unforgettable tailor-made cruises and themed sailing holidays to the most idyllic islands of Greece, all in a world-class Hallberg-Rassy 49 blue water cruiser, perfectly maintained and refit in 2017.
