Sailing around Menorca.
Just as with the other islands of the Balearics, sailing around Menorca is very attractive. With beautiful waters, small and natural harbours, cliffs and bays: it can all be enjoyed in and around Menorca. Sail towards the most northern point of the island, where you can observe the lighthouse Cap de Cavellería. According to the Spanish, Menorca is the most authentic island of Spain. Definitely worth a visit!
Things to do in Menorca?
Just as Formentera, Menorca is known for its landscape, which makes it an attractive place for hiking- and bicycle-tours across the island. Furthermore, Mahón, the historic capital city of the island has one of the smallest, natural harbours in the world! Ordering a plate of fish around here is strongly recommended! During the summer, from June till September, an incredible festivity takes place: ‘Jaleo’, a festival in which horsemen make a horse dance to music. Besides all the activities, Menorca has enormous beaches where you can take a well-deserved rest!
