Italy

Italy is well known for its rich history, culture, art and the delicious cuisine. Leonardo da Vinci and Michelangelo are just a few of the legends this country has brought us. And we all know those tasty Italian pizzas and pastas, preferably with a lot of parmesan cheese on top. Italy’s warm climate is perfect for a stay on the beach, where you’ll get a platter of frutti di mare for sure. Whether it’s a short stay or a long stay, the land of romance offers something for everything.

When in Italy, it’s culture galore. You can go to the well known attractions such as the Colosseum, the Sistine Chapel (where Michelangelo painted the ceiling) and the Tower of Pisa (you know, the one that leans over). Other good places to visit are definitely the region of Tuscany and Cinque Terre, five cute and colorful towns along the coast. When you want to swap salt for fresh water, go to Lake Garda - Italy’s largest lake - and sail away! A trip to a local vineyard is a good addition for your taste buds, but be careful not to drink too much before you hop on the boat again - or you’ll risk a fine!

Whether you’re on a romantic weekend with your partner, a family trip with your relatives and children or with a group of friends, Italy has it all. Sail away!
